Holiday Ornament Drop

The Meridian Arts Commission is putting a festive twist on its popular annual Meridian Art Drop by hosting the Meridian Ornament Drop. Residents of all ages and artistic abilities are encouraged to make handmade Christmas ornaments to “drop” in downtown Meridian on Saturday, Dec. 10 for others to find and keep as a gift. Ornaments can be hung from trees, propped on window sills, or placed in any number of creative locations for someone else to find. Those lucky enough to find an ornament (only keep one per person, please) are encouraged to post a photo of it on social media using the hashtag #meridianornamentdrop

Shop Meridian Downtown Night

Join us on Thursday, December 8, from 5:00 - 9:00 pm for a festive shopping experience. Downtown will be bustling with pop-up vendors. Grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant, place your vote for the Downtown Decorating Contest and then enter to win a prize from the Meridian Chamber's Shop Meridian campaign.

Downtown Decorating Contest

Visit Downtown Meridian this winter to see a Christmas wonderland. Meridian's downtown businesses will decorate and compete for the People's Choice Awards. Maps can be downloaded and voting is online.
Voting begins on Friday, Dec. 2 and runs through Friday, Dec. 11. Winners will be announced on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022. |
