Downtown Meridian will glow with the Christmas spirit as the City of Meridian presents Christmas in Meridian. Throughout the month of December local businesses and the community draw together to host a variety of events and activities to celebrate the magic of the holiday season together.
The 5th Annual Winter Lights Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting will kick off the festivities on Friday, November 30, 2018. The Winter Lights Parade will light up the night in a fantastic display your family will love. The evening will also feature the lighting of Meridian's Christmas Tree in Generations Plaza on the corner of Main and Idaho. Buddy the Elf and his friend, Jovie, will be here to help Santa ignite the imaginations and joy in the hearts of young and old alike.
Christmas Books at the Free Little Library
The Little Free Library in Meridian City Hall's outdoor plaza will be stocked with Christmas books. Come by to pick up some great Christmas reading and you can also leave your own Christmas favorites for another Meridian family to enjoy.

Do your little ones enjoy writing their letters to Santa each year? Bring them by Meridian City Hall's outdoor plaza and drop them into Santa's Mailbox (located near Broadway Ave.). The box will be delivered from the North Pole on November 21, the day before Thanksgiving.
Every letter delivered to the mailbox by December 17th will receive a personalized response! In order to receive a reply, letters must have a clearly legible return address... neatness counts!
